I got an initial appointment very quickly after the referral was received by the clinic. I felt from start to finish that I received great care from Mr. Hannah, his office team (especially Ursula) and surgical/hospital team. I am recovering very well and the surgical wound 7 weeks post op has healed beautifully. Don't get me wrong although I'm flying it, the pain after was an absolute dose and I still have some pain but I knew it would be before the surgery. I also saw Galway Clinic's Senior Physio Elaine ~ it was well worth the effort to go back to the Clinic for physio ~ she was great.

Mr.Hannah is very professional,  friendly and calm; gave plenty of time at consultation and answered all questions very well. He created a very calm and trusting atmosphere which made the surgical experience so much easier. His secretary was always very helpful too.

The whole process, from diagnosis to surgery, to recovery was much quicker and easier than expected. The pain only lasted for a few days and only required paracetamol. I was told I could walk normally following the surgery and never used crutches, which made recovery much faster. It's been 7 weeks since my surgery and I'm already in a much better place than before surgery. I can walk around with no pain and am beginning to cycle again. Mr. Hannah is very knowledgeable and trustworthy. If I ever need knee surgery again, I would go straight to him!

Mr. Hannah used clear X-ray images to show the before and after results of the surgery. The consultation and ongoing visits in hospital was informative and reassuring.  After surgery the knee was immediately comfortable to weight bare on, allowing the road to recovery to begin. I was able to get back to daily life by six weeks following the aftercare recommended. Comparing the experience and knee function through Mr. Hannah's surgery with a past surgery done in another country, the outcome is so much better. I highly recommend Mr. Hannah.

Fabulous experience 

I found the whole experience to be very thorough and professional. At just 6 weeks after the surgery I feel that there is already a big improvement in my knee. Highly recommended. 

I had both knees replaced in 2015, the right knee had only 40° bend. Mr. Hannah performed corrective surgery on it, he also carried out manipulation on both knees. Six weeks later after a physio program I have 93° bend in that knee and 95° bend in the other one and still improving. I am absolutely  delighted. 

I said to Mr. Hannah my biggest regret before he operated on my right knee was that I could not cycle my training bicycle because of having only 40° bend in it. I could not get any rotation in it, after surgery I am back on my bike and I am able to do 600 rotations in one session. I could not be any happier

After getting the opinion of 5 different surgeons Mr. Hannah was the only one who agreed to do surgery on my 14 years old daughters ACL. As she is hypermobile and still growing the surgery was complicated. Mr. Hannah was new to the clinic and we didn't know anything about him but he soon put us at ease. He showed us pictures before and after surgery and his follow up care was excellent. 8 months on she's had no problem. We are very happy with the result.
